I just wanted to point out that the 2012\u00a0IGF Pirate Kart<\/a> has been released. \u00a0It’s not very piratey, but it has tons (> 300) of free (and legal) little games in it. \u00a0Beware, however, since several games are extremely inappropriate. \u00a0There’s a review at Rock, Paper, Shotgun<\/a>\u00a0that mentions a few of the ones to avoid.<\/p>\n

Also, there was a humorous little Twitter meme going on earlier between some game developers, called #simplegames<\/a>. \u00a0Here are some of my favorites:<\/p>\n

@JonBaker – Farmville: troll friends with incessant updates<\/p>\n

@S0phieH –\u00a0Gran Turismo: buy fastest car, use walls to turn.<\/p>\n

@JonBaker –\u00a0Tecmo Super Bowl: Touchdown Bo Jackson<\/p>\n

@benhowgill – Call of Duty: Point and Click before other players do the same to you.<\/p>\n

@Freakcion -Portal 2 : put holes in white surfaces, jump through them to win<\/p>\n

But I better not get carried away. \u00a0That does remind me, though, to mention the ways you can keep updated with the news here at Blue Dino Code.<\/p>\n

My personally preferred method is RSS. \u00a0There is an RSS feed for the News page (see orange RSS icon?). \u00a0Subscribe to that in your favorite RSS reader (I use Google Reader).<\/p>\n

You can also keep up with Twitter. \u00a0You will see links to my new posts if you keep an eye on @GrimFang4<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And the last way is Facebook. \u00a0Well, I can’t help you much here if I don’t really know you… \u00a0But if we are actually friends, then you might see my new posts there.<\/p>\n

I’ll probably do something with Google+ eventually, but not right now. \u00a0It is<\/em> better for keeping personal friends and acquaintances separate. \u00a0Anyhow, see ya around!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
